Do I qualify for medically managed weight-loss?

A BMI of 30+ indicates first degree obesity.

Yes. There is a 3 month commitment. We have set this as a standard for our program to ensure that patients are committed to the program. It may take 3 months or more for patient’s to establish a predictable weight-loss trend.

Semaglutide is a safe medication when taken as prescribed and under the supervision of a health care provider. However, some side effects may occur. Common side effects include: nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, constipation, abdominal pain, headache, fatigue, dyspepsia, dizziness, abdominal distension, eructation, hypoglycemia in patients with type 2 diabetes, flatulence, gastroenteritis, gastroesophageal reflux disease, and nasopharyngitis. read more here

Semaglutide is a medication prescribed for diabetes and medically managed weight loss. You should not take this medication if you do not have a hemoglobin a1c of 5.7, or a BMI greater than 27 with co-morbidities or a BMI greater than 30.
Semaglutide is contraindicated for patients who have a personal or family history of medullary thyroid cancer.
There can also be increased complications in patients who have a history of acute pancreatitis, acute gallbladder disease, hypoglycemia, acute kidney injury, diabetic retinopathy, suicidal thoughts or ideations, or allergic reaction to Semaglutide. read more here

About your appointment

  • Up-to date labs are required (within the last 6 months). You can bring a copy of your last labs with you.
  • If you need updated labs, we will draw them at your initial appointment. Our General Lab Panel is $75
  • If you are interested in hormone replacement therapy + weight-loss, our Complete Lab Panel is $100
  • We are a membership based clinic and do not accept insurance for office visits, medication, or lab work
